At a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov via the digital system, the schedule of major events and celebrations planned for June 2026 was reviewed. Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Seyidova delivered a report on the matter.

A number of cultural, musical, and sporting events dedicated to key holidays and memorable dates are scheduled to take place across the country in the coming month. Among them are International Children’s Day, World Bicycle Day, World Environment Day, Science Day, the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as celebrations honoring the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.

A special place in the program will be occupied by events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence and the year’s motto: “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” As a bright addition to the festivities, a celebration marking the 3rd anniversary of the opening of the “smart” city will be held on the festive square of the city of Arkadag.

The international component of June’s program will also include the Days of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ashgabat, along with a number of international conferences, Olympiads, and exhibitions. Final rounds of the “Çalsana, bagşy!” competition and the “Talyp joşguny – 2026” creative festival will take place in the regions of the country.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring a high level of preparation for all planned events and gave the Deputy Prime Minister specific instructions to guarantee the excellent organization of the upcoming celebrations.
