Today, in the territory of a complex of fountains of the Avaza national tourist zone the concert of workers of culture and art of member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held. The cultural event was attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and heads of high-level delegations, arrived for participation in the meeting of the Council of heads of CIS states.
In the beginning of the solemnity, the Russian film director Robert Frantsev who has become winner of the Interstate television competition of films «Flight of the horse: strength and grace» with the film «The Akhal-Teke Steed – the Treasure of the Nation», was presented with a special memorable figurine of the competition, a diploma, and a cash prize of 10 thousand US dollars from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.
In the concert organised on the sidelines of international events, held on the coast of the Caspian sea, the awarding ceremony of the main prize of the international competition «Tatar kyzy - 2026» took place. The representative of Uzbekistan A.Mahmudova, to whom on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan keys to the car «ZEEKR X9» were handed, became winner. She was wished the most sincere congratulations.
The competition, which become a bright embodiment of beauty and fineness, was over with the victory of a Tatar girl who expressed warm gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Hero-Arkadag and the people of Turkmenistan for warm reception in the Turkmen land according to national traditions of hospitality and a high level of organisation of actions. As the girl underlined, participation in the international competition, which was, held on the picturesque coast of the Caspian sea, for her a great honour, and the gained victory for ever remains to be one of the happiest and memorable events in her life.
Today, the culture of Turkmenistan actively develops in various areas, harmoniously combining modern lines, achievements and national values. The special attention is given to popularisation of the rich cultural heritage of our people on the international scene, development of cultural dialogue with foreign states and expansion of creative relations.
In recent years, our fatherland has become the centre of numerous international forums and actions. This another acknowledgement of the fact that culture and art are capable to overcome borders and distances, to unite different people in aspiration to peace, good neighbourhood and prosperity. The present event with participation of actors of member countries of CIS – another evidence of consecutive advancement of cultural diplomacy and rapprochement of states and people by means of art.
… The solemn concert was opened with the song «Arkadagly Serdarym bu gün uly toý tutýar». The performance of the folklore ensemble «Dokmaçylar», combining the singing and incendiary dance, reflected impressing successes of our fatherland, which confidently goes towards new heights of progress under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The literary-musical composition «Awazanyň kenarynda, ýaňlanýar dostluk aýdymy» was devoted to growing friendship of Turkmenistan with world states, and the importance of Avaza as the original centre uniting people.
The concert program included also bright performances of famous variety performers and dance groups of CIS countries. Each number took spectators into the journey of other country, acquainting them with its culture and art. Before spectators the State Academic Russian National Choir named after M.E.Pyatnitsky, the Belarus state ensemble "Pesnyary", the Belarus state academic choreographic ensemble "Horoshki", ensemble of students-dombra players of National university of arts of Kazakhstan, the State dance ensemble "Saltanat", and famous workers of culture and art of countries of the Commonwealth acted.
Performances of national and honoured artists of Turkmenistan, famous singers, musicians and folklore groups added special colours to the concert. A storm of applause of spectators became a high recognition of talent and professionalism of actors.
Musical and dance numbers were accompanied by video shots with images of picturesque corners and sights of cities of the planet, original traditions and customs of different people, their cultural and the cultural wealth glorifying peace, friendship, brotherhood and unity.
Continuation of the festive program was the ancient dance kushtdepdi, which is an integral part of national and universal cultural treasury and was included in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO. This unique piece of Turkmen national creativity, in which historical and cultural traditions and the inner world of people are reflected, fills the present period with the new meaning.
The concert’s finale was over with the joint song «Öňe, öňe, diňe öňe, jan Watanym Türkmenistan!», its words and music were written by Hero-Arkadag. Its solemn performance - a symbolical hymn to prompt development of our fatherland, its bright future and great purposes.
