The art contest Turkmeniň Altyn asyry for the Prize of the President of Turkmenistan has been announced among writers and poets, workers of culture and art and talented youth.

The national art contest Turkmeniň Altyn asyry is announced each year and brings together representatives of the creative professions from all over the country – writers and poets, composers, musicians, folk artists, artists and journalists, theatrical and movie actors, cinematographers, museum and library specialists, etc. Its laureates are cultural and arts workers and artistic groups who receive the substantial prize money. Each year hundreds of participants win prizes in various nominations of the contest.

The contest of amateur young singers and the music contest of gifted children are held in the framework of the Turkmeniň Altyn asyry contest.
