An exhibition of poster drawings dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day was presented at the Children’s Art School named after Bashim Nuraly. 15 drawings, depicting the moment of the long-awaited meeting of the soldiers who returned home with the Victory were exhibited on the stand of the assembly hall of the school. The front-line soldiers are touchingly embraced by children, wives, mothers who have supported them for many years with their anticipation and unwavering faith in the Victory. In their honor, fireworks sparkle and parades march...

There is a picture of a monument to a warrior liberator, who is given flowers, and there is a picture of a grandfather and grandson sitting on a bench in the city garden, and the grandson keeps his eyes on the orders and medals of the gray-haired front-line soldier.

The teacher Lyudmila Ulakina told the children about the treacherous attack of the enemy on our homeland, about the Battle of Stalingrad, which started the defeat of the occupiers, about how Turkmen fighters fought heroically, about how Turkmen women performed a feat, donating family jewelry to the defense fund. By the way, there is a painting by People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Evgeniya Adamova on this subject.

Guests from the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva - singers Meylis Muratgeldyev and Begench Gaipov, as well as concertmaster Maya Beymanova performed a small concert for the children. The concert program included the songs «Esgeriň ýatlamasy», «Mirosdary», «Smuglyanka» (the first performer of this song was Turkmen singer Murad Sadykov), «Cranes» and others. The concert ended with the song-hymn «Victory Day». Under this legendary song, the painted heroes from the posters, the authors of which are the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of soldiers who had won freedom for them, seemed to come to life.
