An interesting event took place at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan – a meeting of 17 graduates 10 years after graduation. Painters, sculptors, graphic artists, artists of decorative and applied arts from Akhal, Lebap, Dashoguz and Balkan brought their works to show what level they have reached in their creative work over the past decade. They were joined by fellow students working in Ashgabat.

The academic gallery has opened an exhibition of works by graduates of the Academy in 2013. The artist Begench Berkeliev did not leave anyone indifferent with his exposition. His work - a mulberry tree holds the viewer by its thickness and expression. Very interesting are the landscapes exhibited by him, which the artist depicted through the branches of trees.

Bayram Bazarov surprised everyone with cranes. He presented 20 works with flying birds. Cranes fly over fields, over city roofs, over the blue sea, over fruit-bearing orchards, they fly during the day and fly at night. One gets the impression that the birds have accepted Bayram into their flock of cranes and he flies together with them across the expanses of our Homeland.

The painting " Aspiration " by Khatyjan Amansakhedova drew the attention of all viewers without exception. Khatyjan depicted a huge horse's head with surprisingly intelligent eyes. By naming the painting "Aspiration", she thus endowed it with special actions, not peculiar to animals.

Book illustrator Rakhman Rakhmanov does not need to be introduced to anyone, he is a well - known artist, all thanks to his unique handwriting in graphics. At the exhibition presented by him, we especially liked the paintings "Dervish" and "The Source".

The artist Amanmurat Modyev has his own view of trees – he sees in them the camp of girls. Amanmurat uses in his work the technique of separate point strokes – divisionism. Therefore, it is not immediately possible to see a female figure in his poplars and cypresses.

Jeweler Ayjemal Charyeva arranged her works throughout the exhibition. Ayjemal is a great admirer of epics and novels, so in her luxurious necklaces one can find stylized characters from the works "Dayahatyn", "Sayatlyhemra", "Gorogly" and others. Using elements of ancient jewelry, Ayjemal combines them with modern ones. One of the necklaces - "Keshdepti" conveys the rhythmic dance of fishermen of Turkmenistan.

Ceramists Almagul Garlyeva, Annageldy Hezretgulyev and Saparsoltan Seyidova are students of the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Dursunsolmaz Mukhammedova, so the ceramic vessels presented by them contain modernist elements inherited from their teacher.

The exhibition brought a lot of joy when former students and their teachers met and the teachers were pleased with the creative works of their students.
