Leading artists of Turkmenistan performed on the stage of the Astrakhan Philharmonic in the framework of the International Festival of Classical Art «Caspian Seasons».
The musical program of the concert «Day of Turkmenistan» was composed by composers of our country. Guests and participants of the festival got acquainted with the creative heritage of Nury Halmammedov. Earlier, presented the music collection of the outstanding Turkmen composer at the I International Forum of Composers of the Caspian Countries.
The best songs from his repertoire were performed at the concert by the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atageldi Garyagdyyev, who impressed the audience with his vocal abilities. In the homeland, the artist is called the golden baritone of the country.
Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov, Ayna Seyitgulyyeva, members of the chamber ensemble «Camerata Ashgabat» conducted by Bahram Dolyyev and other masters of art continued to acquaint the public with the Turkmen musical culture.
The Astrakhan region and Turkmenistan have long-standing and successful cooperation. Among the ongoing joint projects are the development of the «North-South» transport corridor, shipbuilding, building up cooperation in the field of education and tourism.
Cultural ties are expanding and strengthening. Currently, is shooting a documentary film about the outstanding classics of Turkmen and world literature in the Astrakhan region XVIII century Magtymguly Pyragy. In addition, cultural events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet and thinker will be held in the region in 2024.
