An exhibition of paintings and ceramic works by Turkmen artists dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence has been opened in the exposition hall of the State Museum of Fine Arts. To reveal this important topic more fully, the organizers of the exhibition used exhibits not only from the storerooms of their museum, but also from the museum of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.

Visitors of the exhibition were particularly attracted by three paintings that would thematically make up a triptych if they had not belonged to the brush of three artists. The paintings glorified the city of Ashgabat, the heart of our Motherland. The authors of the works are Aziza Ovezmuradova, Ainabat Akmukhammedova and Gyzylgul Khudaiberdyeva.

The painting by the muralist Valentin Kudryashov about the historical monument of Parthia on the background of blooming white marble Ashgabat evoked patriotic feelings closely connected with the past and present of the Turkmen people.

The work "Family" by Rahim Annanurov contrasts among the paintings of pathetic significance as a particular example from the life of society. The author depicted a young happy family on a walk in one of the central streets of the capital. Such joy, felt by all the family members, is possible only with a stable life of a prosperous country.

Oguldursun Rejepova's painting is called "May 25". This date is also written on the chalkboard, and it means a glorious date – the Day of the city of Ashgabat. A teacher surrounded by children is looking at the layout of the construction of the future urban area in the capital. The children are delighted with the enthusiastic story of their mentor about the heyday of Ashgabat, the white marble capital of our country.

A special place was given to performers of folk music – bakhshi. These are paintings by Tamara Kiseleva "Folk Song about Ashgabat" and Ovezmukhammet Akmukhammedov’s "Mystery of Mukams", a dutarist's song about the sultry sands of the Karakum.

The exhibited works represented a story in colors about the real life of the Turkmen people celebrating the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
