A large creative delegation of Turkmenistan went to United States of America to participate in the Days of our Culture countries and events dedicated to the 300th anniversary Magtymguly Fragi. The creative event will take place on October 23-24 in Albuquerque is a sister city of Ashgabat.
The delegation included representatives of the ministry culture, khyakimliks of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, State News Agency of Turkmenistan, Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, television and radio channel "Türkmen owazy", artists of leading drama theaters, museums and library workers, folk singers and dancers’ ethnographic ensembles “Dokmaçylar”, “Aşgabat”, “Ahal öwüşgünleri.”
As part of the cultural event, concerts of masters will take place arts and creative groups of Turkmenistan, which will present American viewers with the bright colors of the original culture and traditions of the Turkmen people, as well as exhibitions museum valuables, national clothes and carpets, publishing products, meetings of Turkmen specialists with American colleagues.
At the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque there will be a creative meeting dedicated to the great poet-humanist and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
On it is the head of the department of modern Turkmen Language and History Institute of Language, Literature and National manuscripts named after Magtymguly ANT Ogulnabat Gochova will talk about scientific research into the creative heritage of Magtymguly, about large-scale preparations for the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen a classic that is performed nationally and internationally levels.
Soloist of the National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly Gulshirin Annamuradova will perform songs on words of Magtymguly, and dramatic actors will read it poems.
Let us recall that such a cultural event was held in Albuquerque ten years ago in connection with the celebration of the 290th anniversary Magtymguly Fragi.
As the media reported, then, among various events a presentation was held for the first time in the USA in English language of the collection of works of the great Turkmen poet-thinker and showing a film about his life and work.
