Ashgabat residents and guests of the Turkmen capital will be able to get closer get acquainted with the culture and language of the Republic of Korea by visiting concerts and film screenings that will take place from November 3 to 5.

The Week will open with a concert of the famous South Korean musical group "ONDO". The soloist of the group - Chongseul will perform popular K-Pop songs and other Korean hits.

The concert will take place on November 3 at the National Musical Drama Theater named after. Magtymguly. Starts at 19:00. Entrance free.

The Ashgabat cinema will host screenings of modern Korean movie with Russian subtitles.

On November 4 at 15:00 the film “Baseball Player” will be presented.

The film was first shown in 2019 at the International Busan Film Festival.

The film tells about a girl who dreams of studying sports at a professional level. However, on the way to the goal the heroine has to deal with gender inequality.

Thanks to her work in this film, actress Lee Joo Young became a rising star of South Korean cinema.

On the same day at 17:00 the film will be presented to film lovers “Diva” (2020) is about two female diving athletes.

At 19:00 there will be a screening of the film “The Secret Zoo” (2020). 

The plot revolves around a lawyer who happened to support the A bankrupt zoo is floating. The funny thing about the story is that for the sake of preserving the zoo, its employees will have to try on yourself in animal costumes.
