The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan hosted events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and philosopher of the East, Magtymguly Pyragy.

 A scientific and creative conference, titled "Magtymguly Pyragy's Creativity is a Source of Wisdom," was held with the participation of professors and students of the Institute, organized by the Language Department of the Institute.

The conference included scientific reports presented by the institute's students, which highlighted the life and work of the great son of the Turkmen people. In their presentations, the students emphasized the unique composition, artistic distinctiveness, and richness of poetic vocabulary in Magtymguly's lyrical works.

Continuing the meeting with great pride, students of the Institute recited heartfelt poems by the poet, filled with profound meaning, wise thoughts, and lofty ideas. The works of poets and thinkers of all times and nations, which invariably resonate in the hearts of people in different corners of the planet, resounded inspiringly on this day in both Turkmen and foreign languages. The talented students also performed patriotic songs based on the poet's verses.

The conference was held as part of the action plan for the solemn celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, as well as the implementation of the Concept for the Improvement of Teaching Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan.

Another thematic meeting was organized by the country's energy university in collaboration with the Mary velayat and city committees of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan.

During the creative meeting, titled "Magtymguly is a Source of Inspiration" and timed to the 300th anniversary of the great classical poet, students gave speeches on the fascinating and rich biography of the genius, the high value of his outstanding and immortal works. 

And, of course, an essential part of the meeting program, which rightfully stirred up emotions and enthusiastic applause of the audience, was the artistic recitation of touching poems by Magtymguly performed by students. The author’s heartfelt lines about the sincere love for the homeland, friendship, kindness, responsiveness, and mutual understanding, as well as the meaning of life reflected dreams and aspirations, pages of the poet's destiny, who served his native people, the great goals of unity, cohesion, peace, and the construction of an independent state. 

At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed confidence that the meeting would contribute to further study and wide popularization of the rich literary heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great poet and founder of Turkmen classical literature. His works are an inexhaustible source of inspiration, morality, patriotism, courage, and serve as an exemplary school of education for the younger generation.
