Leading theater groups from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia), Turkey, and Uzbekistan have gathered in the capital of Turkmenistan to participate in the IV International Theater Festival "Theater Art of the Age of Happiness", which will take place from November 14 to 16 in Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag.

Following the established tradition, the festival's opening ceremony will commence at the Main Academic Drama Theater named after S. Turkmenbashi the Great. The guests will be welcomed on the platform in front of the theater's facade, where there will be a grand procession of theater groups. Performances by musicians, artists, dance ensembles, and students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture will take place at the Mollanepes Student Theater.

During the festival, professionals and enthusiasts of theater art will be presented with new productions that depict the traditions, history, and way of life of Turkic peoples.

On November 14, the festival program will open with the play "Köňüller kelamy". The performance will take place at the Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theater in the city of Arkadag. The show starts at 15:00.

The Alp Arslan National Drama Theater of Turkmenistan will present the play "Fate of the Defenseless" by the Taldykorgan Kazakh Drama Theater named after Biken Rimova. It starts at 17:30.

The festival day will continue with the play "Night Far from the Motherland" by the Tajik State Youth Theater named after M. Vakhidov. The show will take place at the Main Academic Drama Theater named after S. Turkmenbashi the Great. It starts at 19:00.

On the same evening, the Khorezm Regional Music and Drama Theater of Uzbekistan will present the production "Shasenem and Garib" on the stage of the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. It starts at 19:00.

On November 15, on the second day of the theater festival, the G. Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater will present the play "Alien" at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. The show starts at 10:00.

The team of the Alp Arslan National Drama Theater of Turkmenistan will present the play "Ak gämi" on their stage. The show starts at 15:00.

The Batken Regional Music and Drama Theater named after A. Zhaynakov (Kyrgyzstan) will present the production "Magtymguly Pyragy" at the Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theater in Arkadag city. The show starts at 19:00.

The second day of the creative showcase will conclude with the the play "Söýgi hem hasrat" by the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan. The show starts at 19:00.

On November 16, the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater will host a performance of the play "Edelweiss or You're Always with Me" by the Shusha State Musical Drama Theater of Azerbaijan. The show will start at 10:00.

On the final day of the festival, the Main Academic Drama Theater named after S. Turkmenbashi the Great will present the play "Magtymguly-köňül guşy" starting at 10:00.

As part of the IV International Festival "Theater Art of the Age of Happiness," there will be a roundtable discussion dedicated to the development of theater art and fostering further collaboration. Additionally, the guests of the creative forum will visit museums and notable places of Turkmen capital and the "smart" city of Arkadag.
