The folklore dance group «Miras» of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture is preparing to take part in a festive concert dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality and the 28th anniversary of the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan. Together with other creative groups of the country, young artists will perform on the stage of the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Centre.
According to the head of the folklore group, teacher of the department of organization of cultural work of the Faculty of Cultural Heritage, Merdan Abayev, «Miras» plans to perform Russian and French dances at the concert, as well as the ancient dance kushtdepdi, which is an integral part of the national and universal cultural heritage. In general, the festive concert program will present the original cultural traditions of different peoples in their desire to live in peace and friendship, which meets the principles of positive neutrality promoted by Turkmenistan.
Created on the basis of a small circle of students - lovers of folklore, the dance group «Miras» of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture over time took its rightful place among the famous creative groups of Turkmenistan. Among the bright performances of the group, which promotes the national cultural heritage, one can note such folklore dances as «Guşak çözdürme», «Läleler çemeni», «Läle-reýhanly Nowruzym», «Wasp edeýin, ýar-ýar», «Gyzlar galasy» and others.
The artists of the «Miras» group are known for their creative successes not only in our country, but also for their active participation in international festivals held in various countries. They were applauded by spectators in the republics of Central Asia, Türkiye, Korea, Russia, Germany, and Japan. In September of this year, the folklore dance group «Miras» took part in the second international folkart festival «One Belt, One Road – The Great Wall» in China.
