The musicians of the «Camerata Ashgabat» group reminded the audience that, according to the calendar, Winter has come to us, and to support their many fans in the coming cold weather, staged a warm concert on the stage of the «Vatan» cinema and concert centre.

The concert program included famous musical works of the winter season, which became world hits, as well as works about love, which no one canceled even in winter.

The program opened with Christoph Gluck's «Melody» from the opera «Orpheus» performed by the duet - first violinist Bahram Dolyyev and pianist Abadan Meredova. As soon as the last sounds of this beautiful music died down, cellist Kakageldi Hojalekov and a trio joined the performers performed fragments from the cycle «The Seasons» by Antonio Vivaldi in a modern arrangement by Astor Piazzollo.

With the participation of viola Tahyr Atayev, the trio turns into a quartet, and Edvard Grieg’s «String Quartet №1» was performed for the audience.

And already with the full composition of the Camerata Ashgabat group, the soloists of the concert performed - Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Leyli Okdirova, Dovran Shammyyev, Begench Moshiyev and Guvanch Shammyyev. They performed ariosos Anna «Blizzard» from the musical «Anna Karenina», «Tango for Claude» by Richard Galliano, «Flight of the Bumblebee» by Rimsky-Korsakov, «Love Like a Dream» by Igor Krutoy and other musical works.

The concert ended with Begench Moshiyev’s performance of the song «Winter», which was written by Eduard Hanok in 1971. Begench Moshiyev once again demonstrated his ability to make a «delicious» number for the audience out of a retro song. The catchy chorus with the words «The ceiling is icy, the door is creaking...» was sung by the audience in the hall along with the vocalist: some chanted, some slammed to the beat. And the perky twinkle in the eyes of the main performer was transmitted to everyone in the hall.
