The creative team of the Turkmen State Puppet Theater prepared a New Year's present for the children by staging the play "Aladdin".

The premiere of the play was a full house. From the very first minutes of the performance, the audience seems to get into a fairy tale, full of exciting adventures of a brave and resourceful boy named Aladdin, who falls in love with Princess Jasmine. Aladdin finds a magical lamp in a cave, flies on a carpet-plane with Jasmine, defeats the evil vizier Jafar, and performs many other good deeds.

All children are familiar with this brave hero from wonderful cartoons and movies. Every boy wants to be like Aladdin, just as every girl wants to be like Princess Jasmine. That is why none of the children refuse to be in the Puppet Theater hall among the live characters and witness such miracles as an elephant entering the hall or Aladdin and his monkey Abu flying over the audience. However, wonders await the audience at every step in the fairy tale.

The roles are performed by actors of the theater, while the tiger, monkey, parrot and dragon are puppets. It was evident that the actors themselves were having an indescribable pleasure participating in Aladdin's adventures. Perhaps the costume designer, Elizaveta Mikhailova, and the sewing workshop masters experienced something similar while dressing the characters and performers in magnificent costumes.

Excellent scenery followed one after another, showcasing the wonderful work of the set designer Kerim Nuryev. The perception of the actions was enhanced by the selection of music by Serdar Ovezov and Guvanch Garajaev.

The play "Aladdin" is a creative success of the Turkmen State Puppet Theater. The main "culprit" of this pleasant event is the young director and set designer Geldimyrat Almammedov. This is already his fifth work in the theater.

It is worth adding that the role of Aladdin was played by Atajan Bayramdurdyev and Jasmine by Gulalek Mammetgulyeva.

And one more thing: it would be desirable to say "Thank you very much" to all participants of the play for providing both young and adult spectators with an incredibly interesting fairy tale experience.
