Fairy tale heroes, characters from famous stories and of course, Ayaz Baba became guests of the New Year event organized by the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library.
Boys and girls in festive dresses and bright carnival costumes danced around the New Year tree, played many interesting games, and showcased their talents in expressive poetry reading.
The young library users mainly come to the reading rooms for fiction literature and fairy tales. Many readers know their favorite fairy tales by heart and eagerly retell the contents of the books they have read to their peers.
Librarians strive to attract new readers and diversify the leisure activities of regular users by organizing various exhibitions, competitions and creative meetings with writers.
"Right now, there is an exhibition of children's drawings of fairy tale characters in the junior department of our library," says the head of the department, Gulya Tashlieva. "The best works are displayed on the stand. The children's department provides all the necessary literature for young readers from 1st to 3rd grade. We also actively provide non-stationary service and visit preschool institutions to bring the library closer to young users."
A cheerful holiday presented to the youngest readers on the eve of the New Year was a great surprise for the children. All participants of the event received sweet gifts from Ayaz Baba and promised to read as many new interesting books as possible in the following year.
