School winter vacations continue in Turkmenistan, along with a series of interesting New Year performances prepared by creative groups of the country.

Daily shows of theatrical fairy tales take place at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. Comedy performances such as "Esen şohuň aýdymy", "Durmuş diňe düýş däl", "Demir aýal", "Gopbam towşanjyk" and "Jadyly söz" provide a fun and enjoyable time for young spectators and their parents.

Currently, the Pushkin State Russian Drama Theater delights children with performances of "Baba Yaga's Tricks" and "How the Grinch stole Christmas". The fairy tale characters not only entertain children but also guide them to the right path, teach them wisdom, patience, kindness and fairness. 

The performances of the Turkmen State Puppet Theater are particularly loved by children and adults. They involve not only actors but also puppet characters. Before each performance, children have an opportunity to dance around a decorated New Year Tree and recite a poem about Ayaz Baba and the New Year.

Those who seek exciting experiences can visit the Turkmenistan State Circus. Here, one can witness the performances of dexterous and skilled jugglers, daring and fearless aerial gymnasts performing under the circus dome. And, of course, the unique equestrian attraction of dzhigits of "Galkynyş" group.

Big festive events for children are also held in the city of Arkadag. The State Drama Theater named after Aman Gulmammedov organizes theater performances. Unforgettable show is also presented by artists of the Gorogly State Equestrian Circus of Arkadag city, performing not only in the arena but also at the Main New Year Tree of the "smart" city.

"Märkaw" concert hall hosted a New Year's performance for children undergoing rehabilitation at the Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Musical and dance groups, theater and circus artists performed for the kids and their parents.

The youngest and most active participants of the New Year celebrations received surprises and gifts from Ayaz Baba. According to schoolchildren, winter holidays are always the most fulfilling and interesting for them, due to the New Year events held in all cultural centers of the country.
