The concert by Rovshen Nepesov’s Orchestra was held at the packed concert hall «Vatan» during the New Year holidays. The concert program included music from famous Turkish TV series. While preparing this program, Rovshen Nepesov, Honored Art Worker of Turkmenistan, discovered that Turkish series are watched by over half a billion people in different countries. The popularity of Turkish cinema lies in its captivating plots, talented actors, the ability of directors to keep the audience in constant suspense, and, of course, in the soundtracks that accompany the actions of the heroes on the screen. This inspired the conductor and composer to organize this concert.
From the first note of the cult film «Muhteshem Yuzyil,» the audience erupted in applause. The live music of the orchestra accompanied the beloved characters in the decisive moments in their lives - moments of triumph or despair.
The concert program featured music from films such as «Herchai,» «Erkenchi Kush,» «Chukur,» «Kara Sevda,» «Chalikushu,» «Kurulush Osman,» and others. And every time, the music helped the audience immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the events happening on the screen.
When the last melody from the series «Kiralik Ashk» was played in the concert program, the conductor turned to the audience and asked, «What should we perform for an encore? 'Muhteshem Yuzyil'? 'Chalikushu'? 'Kara Sevda'?» Based on the number of raised hands, «Kara Sevda» emerged as the winner. Once again, with the help of the orchestra, the audience is immersed in a whirlwind of vivid events.
The music from Turkish films performed by Rovshen Nepesov’s Orchestra gave the audience a great aesthetic pleasure. Rovshen Nepesov, bidding farewell to the audience, thanked them for the warm reception and noted that, unfortunately, not everyone who wanted to attend the concert was able to purchase tickets, but let them not be disappointed - we will definitely repeat the concert.
