Numerous cultural events, conferences, lectures, exhibitions and concerts dedicated to the motto of 2024 "Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi" are held in Ashgabat, Arkadag city and velayats of the country these days.

Creative meetings and exhibitions commemorating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classic of Turkmen literature, poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi are organized at the Museum of History and Local Lore of Arkadag city. Recently, this place was visited by representatives of the D. Ovezov Turkmen State Specialized Music School of the M. Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory.

The art and culture workers exchanged views on the invaluable contribution of Magtymguly Fragi to the treasury of world literature, discussed the profound content of his poetry, and recited poems full of patriotism and humanity. The concluding highlight of the meeting was a performance by soloists and the orchestra of folk musical instruments of the D. Ovezov Turkmen State Specialized Music School.

The round table in a discussion-music format was held at the Cultural Complex of the Culture Department of Arkadag city. Female bakhshi performers, led by Shemshat Khojaeva, senior lecturer of the M. Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, People's Artist of Turkmenistan, performed folk songs and compositions based on the poems of Magtymguly Fragi. The fascinating conversation and musical performances will be broadcasted on "Arkadag" TV channel in the near future.

The renowned bakhshis of our country presented the folk musical art of performing the verses of the great Magtymguly Fragi accompanied by dutar and gyjak at the M. Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory. Merdan Bayramgeldiyev, a student of the conservatory and winner of the "Çalsana, bagşy!" competition, performed popular songs like "Gözel sen", "Dert boldy", "Aýrylma". Yagmyr Nurgeldiev, People's Artist of Turkmenistan, master of dutar and bakhshi, performed "Pyragy" about the outstanding personality of the classical poet

Numerous events dedicated to the motto of the year and the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi's birth are also taking place in libraries, museums, higher and secondary educational institutions in velayats of the country. The cultural and educational activities are aimed at studying and widely popularizing the rich heritage of Magtymguly Fragi, which is an integral part of Turkmen national literature.
