The premiere of the comedy "Oscar" by French playwright Claude Magnier took place at the Main Drama Theater. The story of the production is quite unusual. Initially, the comedy was staged at the Mollanepes Student Theater by Aymammet Ishangulyev, the head of the Department of Acting and Stage Speech of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.

The audience received the performance warmly. That is why the management of the Alp Arslan National Drama Theater invited Aymammet Ishangulyev to direct this play with professional actors.

Once again, the audience became witnesses to a tangle of twisted intrigues that ensnared soap magnate Bertrand Barnier in one day: his assistant confessed to swindling, an illegitimate daughter appeared at his house, and his underage daughter wants to marry a fired driver. And in all this turmoil, three identical suitcases are constantly confused: one with money, another with diamonds, and the third with underwear.

The play is notable for its vibrant characters: the eccentric head of the family (actor Perkhat Babaev), the upper-class wife (honored artist of Turkmenistan Gulshat Takhyrova), the temperamental daughter who is used to getting what she wants through tantrums (Leila Allaeva), the well-mannered illegitimate daughter (Ogulgovkher Mukhammedova), and the resourceful housemaid (Shemshat Khojyeva).

Credit must be given to the workers of the tailoring shop who dressed the female actors in elegant attire. France is a trendsetter, and the women's costumes reflected this status.

In all three productions by Aymammet Ishangulyev, the actors play with ease and joy, making the play lively and captivating. A characteristic detail: as they left the theater, all the spectators were smiling, indicating that the characters of the play had uplifted their mood.
