Traditionally, on the eve of International Women’s Day in Ashgabat, the results of the annual competition «Talyp gözeli» («Student Beauty»), held among female students of higher educational institutions, are summed up. At the final stage, 22 students representing the country's leading universities competed for the title of recognized beauty.

The final tests took place on the stage of the Cultural and Business Centre of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. Here the girls had to demonstrate to the jury all their musical, artistic, economic talents and handicraft skills.

A modern beauty must be able to combine many social roles in her life. And, as the example of the contestants showed, they are able to cope with any task. Demonstrate female beauty and the ability to wear national dresses, prepare a dish of Turkmen cuisine - the famous unash soup. And, of course, masterfully using a needle and thread, you can easily embroider national patterns on a piece of fabric.

Based on the results of three rounds, the panel of judges, assessing the communication skills and skills of the students, determined the winners and the winner of the Grand Prix of the competition.

The bearer of the title «Talyp gözeli-2024» was a third-year student of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly Akgozel Yagmyrova.

Representative of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, student Aygul Altyyeva took 1st place.

2nd  place was awarded to two participants at once - a student of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azady Aygul Allanova and a student of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction Gulruh Halmyradova.

Three participants were in 3rd position. This is a student of the International University of Humanities and Development Leyli Ernepesova, a student of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev Ogulnazik Myshyyeva and a student of the University of Engineering and Technology named after Oguz Han Guncha Jumageldyyeva.

Organized by the Ministry of Education, the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the Central Council of the Women's Union, the «Talyp Gözeli» competition is very popular among active youth. It is very prestigious to become a finalist and enter the top beauties of the country. All participants in the grand final received diplomas and memorable gifts.
