Tahyr Atayev Orchestra and music of Italian composers

The National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly hosted the concert of Tahyr Atayev’s orchestra «Italian Holidays» with great success.

Fans of this group have already noticed that Tahyr Atayev at every concert invites listeners on a journey through the best works of foreign composers. This time the orchestra stopped in the homeland of the great Caruso. The famous song of Caruso, which became the personification of the Italian singer, was performed by Begench Moshyyev. A powerful velvety baritone, a beautiful manner of performance and the amazing music of the piece performed by a live orchestra made this number unforgettable.

It should be noted that Begench Moshyyev performed as the main soloist in the concert program. This impressed the public, since he had long become one of the most beloved singers of the Turkmen stage.

The stage featured such familiar hits as «The Ecstasy of Gold», «Felicita», «Mamma mia», «Luna», the Italian partisan anthem «Bella Chiao», as well as such masterpieces as music from the films «The Godfather», «The Good, the Bad and the Ugly» and others.

The concert program ended with the song «Sara perche ti amo», performed by Begench Moshyyev, conservatory student Dunyagozel Begalyyeva and saxophonist Shirhan Batyrov. The audience kept the artists on stage with friendly applause. And then a voice was heard in the hall: «Encore» «Bella Chiao». He was supported by other listeners.

And again, Begench Moshyyev took a proud pose and superbly performed the song, which has become loved all over the world. The listeners applauded the singer in time, and some even sang along.

We thank you for the warm welcome and look forward to seeing you again at the «Letters from the Front» concert on the 10th of May, Tahyr Atayev concluded the evening, addressing the audience in the hall.
