Turkmenistan is preparing to host the International Scientific Conference «The Fount of the Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi» on the 18^th of May this year, which will be dedicated as part of the events marking the 300^th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen philosopher and classical poet. Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Education and Health N. Amannepesov spoke about this at a government meeting via video link.

According to him, in order to attract international attention to initiatives aimed at studying the work of Magtymguly, the Institute of Language named after Magtymguly, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is organizing the International Scientific Conference «The Fount of the Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi».

It is expected that, along with the scientific intelligentsia of our country, representatives of UNESCO and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), as well as foreign scientists from 34 countries, will take part in the upcoming forum.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that on the occasion of the 300^th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, events dedicated to the literary heritage of the great philosopher are being successfully held in the country and abroad, and international cooperation in this area is actively developing.

The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure that the International Scientific Conference «The Fount of the Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi» is held at a high organizational level.
