The feature film "Daragt" by Turkmen director Sahysalyh Bayramov was awarded a special jury prize at the XVII Cheboksary International Film Festival, held from May 23 to 29 in the Chuvash Republic (Russian Federation).
The film, produced by the Oguzhan Turkmenfilm Association, was presented as part of the competition program at the Volzhsky cinema.
The work was evaluated by an expert jury, which included renowned filmmakers from Armenia and the Russian Federation.
The international platform of the film festival brought together cinematographers from 15 countries. The theme of the competition was dedicated to ethnic and regional cinema.
It is worth noting that the Oguzhan Turkmenfilm Association is the leading enterprise in our country for producing high-quality film content. Every year, new movies of various genres are released, reflecting the culture, history and modern life of our country.
Work at the film studio never stops. Currently, the shooting of a new film "Magtymguly" is in full swing, the work on the feature and journalistic film "Atalar we ogullar" ("Fathers and Sons") is being completed, as well as the feature film "Ependi".
