The exhibition "Women's Universe of the Turkic World," held at the Gapar Aitiev National Museum of Fine Arts in Bishkek, brought together the best creative works by female artists from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.

Our country was represented at the creative event by Hatyja Amansahedova and Ainagul Nuriyeva. The paintings and still-lifes by the artists from Turkmenistan, based on the use of national motifs and colors, gave the exhibition guests an opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of the Turkmen people.

The opening ceremony was attended by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, as well as cultural figures.

As TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev emphasized in his speech, this exhibition, aimed at uniting female artists from Turkic countries, is held for the first time. Despite the fact that all the works belong to female artists from the Turkic world, they are very diverse: they differ in styles, schools, views, education and forms.

It was also noted that the exhibition will be organized in other Turkic states and will become a traditional event. Next year, a similar exhibition is planned to be held in Aktau, Kazakhstan.

As part of the exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY, a round table was held on the topic "Women in Art in its Historical, Cultural and Social Aspects." Additionally, master classes were conducted for students of art schools in Bishkek.

The participating artists were presented with catalogs of the exhibition "Women Artists of the Turkic World."
