The summer holiday season for schoolchildren continues in the children's health centres of Gökdere, a unique natural health resort located in the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag.

Various cultural, sports, educational and educational events are organized for them, in which the country's library staff take an active part. Thus, employees of the State Children's Library of Turkmenistan named after Bazar Amanov, together with specialists from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, held events at the «Nebitchi» children's health centre dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the outstanding Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi.

During the conversation on the topic «Magtymguly sözlär tili türkmeniň, the children were told about the poetry of the sage poet, which teaches love for the Motherland, its beautiful nature, courage, honesty and justice. Girls and boys who are interested in drawing took part in a competition to embody the artistic image of Magtymguly Fragi. The winners of the children's drawing competition were awarded incentive prizes. The children also looked with great interest at the traveling book exhibition organized for them.

Employees of the Ata Salih Library of the Centralized Library System of the Department of Culture of the City of Ashgabat organized a creative event called «Şan-şöhraty dünýä dolan Pyragy» with the participation of young readers of various ages at the children's health center «Beýik Serdar nesilleri», located in Gökdere. Speakers at the event noted the outstanding significance of the creative heritage of the great poet and thinker for the Turkmen people and all humanity, and spoke about new book releases dedicated to the anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi. The inexhaustible educational potential of his poetry was especially emphasized, helping the younger generation to become purposeful, highly educated and highly moral, worthy of doing good deeds for the benefit of the country and all humanity.
