The velayat tour of the "Gülüň owadan!" contest, announced by the Central Council of the Women's Union and the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, took place at the "Türkmeniň ak öýi" building in Balkanabat, Balkan velayat.

The contest aims to popularize the national cultural heritage and ancestral traditions of our people. According to the rules, participants had to present samples of national felt rugs – koshma, which they had made in advance, to the jury, as well as create a 1x1.5m felt rug within a specified time during the competition.

The winners of the contest were Chynar Menglidurdyeva, artistic director of the cultural center in Akguyy village, Turkmenbashi etrap, and Sapartach Mollaeva, an employee of the cultural center in Sulmen village of the same etrap. They earned the right to participate in the national tour of the contest.

The contestants expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their tireless efforts aimed at preserving and widely popularizing the cultural heritage of our people.
