On the 24th of August, as part of the International Festival of Classical Art «Caspian Seasons», a concert «Turkmenistan Day» was held.

On the stage of the Astrakhan Philharmonic, works of world and national musical classics were performed, as well as popular songs performed by People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atajan Berdiyev. The artist was accompanied by the outstanding pianist, laureate of national and international competitions Ashyr Ashyrov, as well as the chamber ensemble «Camerata Ashgabat».

The event was attended by representatives of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrahan), the leadership of the city administration, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, teachers and students of universities, festival participants, as well as numerous Astrahan residents.

The fourth edition of the Caspian Seasons festival, which runs from the 17th of August to 1st of September, opened with a grand gala concert featuring the Symphony Orchestra of the Caspian States and opera stars, including the tenor from Turkmenistan Dovlet Nurgeldiyev, who performs at the most prestigious concert venues in the world, and the famous Turkmen singer Ayna Seyitgulyyeva. The geography of the festival has expanded in 2024 - in addition to the Caspian countries, artists from Belarus and Uzbekistan are taking part in it.

The program of the Caspian Seasons 2024 includes various concerts, days of the Caspian states, open lessons with the participation of famous soloists, musicians and ballet dancers from the Caspian states, and a photo exhibition «Russia – Caspian» is also organized.
