This year, under the motto "Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi," is marked by the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great philosopher and poet. The jubilee date is celebrated with numerous events: literary contests, exhibitions, concerts, creative meetings and cultural activities both in Turkmenistan and abroad.

In continuation of honoring the name of Magtymguly Fragi and his significant contribution to world literature, it was decided to dedicate the first lesson of the new academic year to the outstanding personality of the poet.

On the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, after the first bell and ceremonial assemblies, all educational institutions in the country will conduct classes on the topic "Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi."

In many schools, lessons will be held with use of multimedia presentations aimed at forming the image of the classic of Turkmen literature in the younger generation.

During the classes, students will discuss the life and fate of the poet, and those who wish can read his poems. Teachers and mentors, together with the students, will recall significant events associated with the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, which will allow for a deeper understanding of his contribution to cultural heritage.

One of the most significant events of the year was the opening of the "Magtymguly Fragi" cultural and park complex in the southern part of Ashgabat.

This large-scale project, which includes a majestic monument to Magtymguly, an alley of famous poets and thinkers from various countries and eras, has already become the most visited place. Creative meetings, poetry readings and excursions are held here.

An important part of the first lesson will be devoted to the literary works of Hero-Arkadag and the books of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, "Youth is the Support of the Motherland" and "Anew – Culture from the Depths of Millennia." In 2024, the ancient city of Anew was declared the capital of the Turkic world. In honor of this, various cultural events were organized there, which will also be mentioned during the first lesson.

The books by the Head of State and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov contribute to the study of the unique historical past of our people. Emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage, these books play a special role in shaping the patriotic consciousness and spiritual and moral education of the younger generation and student youth.
