An exhibition of paintings, graphics and photographs titled "Alabay – Faithful Friend and Helper" is on display at the Exhibition Center of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture.

The exhibition opens with Oraznabat Khommadova's decorative work "Faithful Friend," which left no visitor indifferent. Oraznabat created an image of an Alabay using numerous paper fragments, giving it a furry appearance that made people want to pet it, just like a real Alabay.

Another interesting piece nearby is "Friends" by Maia Toiliyeva. Maia depicted three playful Alabays in a cubist style. The painting attracts attention with its bright colors and charming creatures, playfully interacting with each other.

Many artists, whether with an easel or a camera, presented works featuring adorable Alabays that captivate with their charm. Typically, these are groups of puppies. Remarkably, they spend time together peacefully without any scuffles, as Alabays are very good-natured creatures.

However, the theme of the exhibition is "Alabay – Faithful Friend and Helper," so many artists went beyond the external appeal of the Alabay and ventured into rural areas where their presence is essential. Paintings depicting the interaction between villagers and Alabays, showcasing their genuine friendship, are featured in many works.

Gulovser Khojanepesova presented a romantic canvas titled "Two Friends." A boy, exhausted from running around all day with his Alabay friend, lies down on the ground. The romantic scene is accentuated by the night sky and wildflowers under moonlight.

One memorable painting is "Shepherds" by Ykhlas Alanazarov. The painting depicts a tense moment of Alabays and shepherds pursuing wolves that attacked a flock. The predators did not expect such a fierce resistance, which will serve as a good lesson for them in the future.

For the national holiday "Alabay Day," Turkmen artists presented an illustrated story about Alabays, providing aesthetic pleasure to visitors of the exhibition.
