160 musicians from all velayats took part in the project of the Ministry of Culture, wherein the United Orchestra of Turkmenistan of wind and percussion instruments "Parahatçylyk owazy" was created for the first time in our country.

The presentation of this grandiose musical group took place in the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. Such an extraordinary event attracted the close attention of modern music admirers and, above all, conservatory musicians who gathered in the hall of the Mukam Palace that evening.

"Garaşsyz, Bitarap Türkmenistan" - this patriotic song's music of the young composer Dovletmammet Okdirov opened the concert presentation of the United Orchestra of Turkmenistan of Wind and Percussion Instruments "Parahatçylyk owazy". The song was performed by students Kadir Esenov, Bairamtach Gandimova, Atadjan Khamraev and Guldjamal Talieva, accompanied by the conservatory choir and orchestra. Capellmeister is Kovus Byashimov, a student of the Conservatory.

The patriotic notes with which the concert began continued with two works – "Oguzlar" by Aman Agadzhikov and "Armanym Galdy" with poems by Makhtumkuli, which also made a pathetic impression on the audience. The conductor's baton passes from Kovus to the conservatory teacher Gurbanberdi Begendjov.

According to the name of the orchestra "Parahatçylyk owazy" ("Melodies of the World"), famous music from foreign countries was performed in the concert program. The orchestra performed film music of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" by Klaus Badelt and "Winter Road" by Vissarion Shebalin, "Libertango" by Astor Piazzolla, "Saber Dance" by Aram Khachaturian, "Merry Orchestra" by Danila Braslavsky and many other favorite melodies.

The concert program also included performances of the jazz group "Ragtime" and the quintet of the group "Perwaz". Turkmen folk song "Baga seýle" by Mammet Nuriev caused friendly applause.

The concert ended with the song "Bitaraplyk aýdymy" performed by the choir, orchestra and four soloists, the same ones who opened the concert. The audience greeted the musicians of the United Orchestra with unceasing applause, also the soloists who enameled the concert program.

Accepting congratulations conductor Gurbanberi Begendjov says: "I think the United Orchestra of Turkmenistan of Wind and Percussion Instruments "Parahatçylyk owazy" expects a good future".

– This concert is our first and quite successful experience.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture, we will be happy to continue interesting work with this team.
