Every year on January 27, our country celebrates Defender of the Fatherland Day, an important holiday that unites military personnel, law enforcement officers, and all citizens of Turkmenistan. Ceremonial events, concerts and exhibitions are organized in honor of this significant occasion.

In Ashgabat, a festive concert titled "Watan goragy – mukaddes borç" was held at the Center for Public Organizations. The event was organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization with the support of military and law enforcement agencies. 

During the concert, servicemen and cadets performed songs glorifying our Great Homeland, the white-marble city of Ashgabat, peaceful life, and Turkmenistan’s policies of peace and prosperity. At the conclusion of the event, distinguished servicemen were awarded commemorative gifts in recognition of their service and dedication.  

Students from the Berdimuhamed Annayev Specialized Military School participated in recording a musical television program titled "Ýaş zehin". A special holiday episode of this program will air on the Ýaşlyk TV channel ahead of the celebration. The students demonstrated their skills by performing patriotic songs about the prosperous era and achievements of the country.  

On January 23, the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan will open an exhibition titled "Guarding the Blessed Fatherland." The exhibition will be dedicated to the country’s heroes and defenders of the homeland.  

The celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day is a tribute of respect and gratitude to those who safeguard our security. This day underscores the importance of Turkmenistan’s chosen course—positive neutrality, peacefulness and constructive cooperation. The country’s defense-oriented military doctrine serves as a guarantee for ensuring security and stability.
