The creative team of the Lebap State Musical and Drama Theater named after Seyitnazar Seydi regularly performs productions that reveal the uniqueness of our national heritage based on historical works dedicated to the glorious past of the Turkmen people.
According to tradition, on the eve of International Women's Day, the State Musical and Drama Theater named after Seyitnazar Seydi presented play "Altyn Jan" by Bayram Akadov, based on the novel by the famous writer Osman Odaev "Altynjan Khatyn", as part of the competition "Mähre doly eneleriň ýüregi", announced by the Ministry of Culture of the country and the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan.
The premiere of the historical play, staged by the talented director Perkhat Khudaiberenov, was successful. The main characters of the play, embodying such sacred concepts as the Fatherland, the state, through the events that took place in the XI century, are famous historical figures – Togrul-bek and his faithful wife Altyndzhan.
The storyline of the new production and the convincing performance of the actors immerse the viewer into the depths of historical events. The fact that the play was written in the language of poetry also had a positive impact on the artistic and effective performance of the play.
The main theme of the play is the appearance of Togrul beg's wife Altynjan at a time when the state of the Great Seljuk Turkmens was under threat, and the preservation of its integrity. The play reveals the courage, dedication and resourcefulness of Turkmen women in difficult times. The historical work describes Altyndzhan's loyalty to her husband and family, her courage and justice, even towards close relatives who held different views when the fate of the nation and the preservation of the state are put on the map.
With stormy applause, the audience welcomed the duet of young artists – Dovlet Khaitguliev and Aysenem Nazarova, incomparably playing the roles of Togrul-Bek and Altynzhan. It should also be noted that the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Babageldi Rejepov, Ogulbossan Yazdzhumayeva, Chary Dolyev, Tayly Allaberdiev, Dzhedzhaletdin Sultyev, Remezan Allaberdiev, Alijan Khemrayev, Shohrat Illiyev brilliantly performed the images of such personalities as Myane Baba, Paravbibi, Ibrahim Ynal, Kabyl, Anushirvan and others. The scenery for the performance, prepared by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Myrat Haitiev, as well as the musical accompaniment chosen by Ruslan Khemraev, harmoniously combined with the content of the events that takes into the depths of history.
The use of the technical capabilities of the theater stage also helped to immerse the audience in the events taking place. In general, we can say that all the actors who took part in the play made a great contribution to its success, and the work of the theater's creative team reflected the creative searches for the director Perhat Khudaiberenov.
The new historical performance is a wonderful gift from the friendly theater team for International Women's Day, which is widely celebrated in our country.
