The Voice of Nature video contest, held within the framework of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) jointly with the Secretariat of the National Group of Turkmenistan and the public organisation «Ýaş tebigatçy», invites young enthusiasts to participate. 

The competition is open to students of secondary educational institutions aged 14 to 18 and students of higher educational institutions of the country aged 18 to 25. Participants must be knowledgeable in environmental issues and have creative ideas for solving current challenges of the climate agenda.

To participate, you must choose one of the proposed video topics, such as innovative solutions for nature conservation, the relationship between man and nature, climate change and its consequences, measures to prevent the waste of water resources, protection of flora and fauna, as well as sustainable development in light of environmental issues and climate change.

Participants are invited to use the musical accompaniment of the following composers: Nury Halmammedov with the compositions «Nar agajy» and «Tebigatyň sesi», and Veli Muhatov. Videos must be in MP4 or MOV format with a resolution of 960x720 (MOV) or higher, and 1080px (MP4) or higher. The original sound must not be altered. Videos with subtitles will not be accepted.

The results of the competition will be determined by the sum of points awarded by the jury. Each participant can send only one work. Information about the participant of the competition must include full name, date of birth, full name of the educational institution, including address with postal code, mobile phone, email address, and a brief description of the video.

The announcement of the results of the competition will take place on the 25th of May, 2025, on Ashgabat City Day. The winners will be awarded diplomas and memorable gifts in the following categories: first place - a laptop, second place - a tablet, third place - a powerbank. The author of the best video will become the owner of a trip to the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone.

The purpose of the competition is to increase environmental awareness of the population. The competition, held in the year declared the International Year of Peace and Trust, is aimed at supporting creative ideas for nature conservation, stimulating the active participation of young people in solving environmental problems and identifying talented, artistically gifted young people.
