The International Children’s Art Festival, organized under the auspices of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY), concluded in the city of Aktau (Republic of Kazakhstan). The creative forum brought together young talents from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye, as well as from regions of Russia — Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Tyva, Crimea — and from all corners of Kazakhstan on one platform.

Young performers demonstrated their skills in four categories: vocals (folk and pop), choreography, performance with a traditional instrument.

Participants from Turkmenistan performed with distinction and showed outstanding results.

Prize places and honorary certificates with valuable prizes from TÜRKSOY were awarded to: the children’s dance group "Abatjyk" from the Culture Center of Balkan velayat; Dovletgeldi Orazdurdyyev, a student of Specialized School No. 15 in the city of Turkmenbashi; Soyench Mashadov, a student of Specialized School No. 21 in the city of Balkanabat; and Shamyrat Myratjanov, a student of Secondary School No. 3 in the city of Balkanabat.

In addition, within the program “Aktau – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2025,” a competition of young painters was held on the theme “Traditional Children's Games of the Turkic World.” Out of thousands of applicants, more than forty talented children were selected to present their works.

In this competition, representatives of Turkmenistan also achieved success. The main prize – the Grand Prix – was won by Bibinabat Ashyrova, a student of Secondary School No. 7 in the Vekilbazar etrap of Mary velayat. Also among the prize-winners were Aysel Semenderova, a student of Secondary School No. 41 in the Charjev etrap of Lebap velayat, and Vepa Geldimuhammedov, a student of Secondary School No. 12 in the Gokdepe etrap of Ahal velayat.

The festival concluded with a gala concert and an awards ceremony. The young performers presented their best acts symbolizing the friendship and unity of Turkic peoples. At the closing ceremony, TÜRKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev noted that the creativity of youth serves as an important bridge for strengthening cultural ties between nations. The organizers expressed hope that the festival would become an annual event.

The successes of Turkmenistan’s participants are a vivid testament that all conditions for the comprehensive development of the younger generation have been created in our country thanks to the tireless care of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag. Young talents achieve significant results in international Olympiads and competitions, demonstrating their abilities and laying the foundation for the bright future of the country.
