On August 21, 2025, the feature film “Magtymguly Fragi” was shown at the “Illusion” cinema of Astrakhan city as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.  

The event was attended by the Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan), a delegation from Turkmenistan who arrived to participate in the “Caspian Media Forum 2025,” Turkmen students studying at universities in Astrakhan, as well as representatives of the Turkmen diaspora in the region.

A welcoming speech was delivered by A.Atayev, Chief Specialist of the International Relations Department of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography of Turkmenistan. He emphasized the significance of the great poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi’s works for Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage and highlighted the importance of developing humanitarian ties among the countries of the Caspian region.
