Small bronze medal in clean and jerk in the weight category above 109 kg of 2018 World Weightlifting Championship in Ashgabat has been added to the list of awards of Turkmen weightlifter Hojamuhammet Toychiyev. It was handed over to our weightlifter on the final day of the Asian Championship in Tashkent by representatives of the Asian Weightlifting Federation. Representative of Turkmenistan national team has informed this news to our reporter.

Two silver medals, in clean and jerk and in total, were won by Turkmen weightlifter Maksat Meredov at Asian Championship in Tashkent. 21-year old student of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, foster of the school of the highest sport skill had this success in the weight category up to 73 kg with personal record of 336 kg (snatch – 147, clean and jerk – 189).

17-year old Turkmen chess player Allayar Shirliyev has played a game of simultaneous blindfolded game against 25 opponents. Sportsman of Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Shohrat Myratguliyev won 16, drown one and lost 2 games. Therefore, the final result of the match is 18.5 – 6.5 to Allayar’s favor.
