The Ministry of education of Turkmenistan announced the III International mathematical Olympiad among schoolchildren, which will be held in Ashgabat from the 8th to 13th of April of this year.

Registration for participants and team leaders is open from the 15th of January to the 1st of April.

Schoolchildren and graduates from Turkmenistan and foreign countries are invited to participate in the Olympiad. The official working languages of the competition are Turkmen, Russian and English.

The competition is held individually in one round at two difficulty levels: categories A and B.

Category A is intended for participants under 20 years of age – schoolchildren and school graduates who graduated from high school in their country less than 1 year ago and are not students at higher education institutions at the time of the Olympiad. Category B will include secondary school students aged 15.5 years and under. There is no limit on the number of participants from each country in either category.

The host country covers all expenses for the participants and team leaders during the Olympiad, including accommodation, meals, transportation within the country, and cultural and excursion programs.
