«Diplomacy and diplomatic traditions of Parthian and Huns states» - is a topic, knowledge of which is to be demonstrated by the participants of the II round of the intellectual competition « Young messengers for peace ». The project for senior pupils was organized by the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Turkmenistan.
The representatives of the Young diplomats’ school at IIR MFA of Turkmenistan, and pupils of 9-11 forms of the secondary schools of the country, who successfully passed the preliminary qualifying stage of the competition, took part in the competition.
I round of the competition on the topic «Epoch of Oguzhan and historic roots of Turkmen diplomacy» took place at the end of November. 8 senior pupils participated there, 2 of them became the winners. They are the pupils of thew capital’s schools – Nurana Hudayberdiyeva (10 form, specialized secondary boarding school named after S. Turkmenbashi) and Yagshymyrat Ovezov (11 form, specialized secondary school No87 with in-depth study of foreign languages).
Next group of competitors of the II round, among which were also determined 2 winners, will enter in intellectual struggle in the last decade of December.
According to the project plan, until May next year, inclusively, 8 main rounds will be held. According to the results of each of them, two winners will be named. Then, with their participation, the IX and X stages will take place, designed to identify the finalists of the competition.
The winners and prize-winners of the final of the youth project will be presented by the best three high school students. The coveted cup of the " Young messengers for peace " project, a 1st degree diploma and a valuable gift await the winner. Holders of II and III places will be awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees and valuable prizes. The rest of the finalists will receive letters of thanks and incentive prizes.
Project of IIR MFA of Turkmenistan was organized within the multifaceted work carried out with the members of the Young diplomats’ school of the Institute, senior pupils who are not indifferent to the world of diplomacy and knowledge about it. The purpose of this activity is to stimulate and support the youth interested in and determined in the choice of the profession of a diplomat. Due to such works the students can acquire certain professional skills and knowledge at this stage of their pre-university training.
