New textbooks for universities have been released in Turkmenistan

By the Turkmen State Publishing Service on the recommendation of The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has released new textbooks for higher education institutions.

Among them is the textbook "Practical course of the Persian language", prepared by the authors B.Atanyyazova, B.Akmamedova, R.Khojaniyazov. It is designed to develop students' oral skills through texts with a concise and accurate presentation of theoretical information.

All the materials in the textbook are divided into lessons based on the thematic the approach. Texts selected on specific topics will enrich the vocabulary of students learning Persian, enhance their speech culture, develop writing skills and deepen their knowledge of grammar. Texts can be studied both as part of training sessions and independently. The exercises provide for translations of texts dedicated to Turkmenistan, its culture and art into Persian, which will contribute to a deeper understanding of the material. This approach will undoubtedly have a positive effect on the rapid assimilation of the material by students.

The Persian-Turkmen dictionary is placed at the end of the textbook, which also increases its value as a teaching aid.

A textbook intended for university students studying Persian The language at a professional level will contribute to the development of oral skills, translation, application of grammatical and spelling rules. It will also help students improve their language skills and better understand the culture and traditions of Persian-speaking countries.

A new textbook "Modern Russian language. The syntax of a phrase and a simple sentence", the authors of which are N.Titova and G.Goleeva.

The publication of this textbook is an important step in the implementation of the "Concept for improving foreign language teaching in Turkmenistan" and the "Concept for improving teaching methods in general education programs in Turkmenistan until 2028", which necessitated a new approach to training highly professional personnel, updating the structure and content. The entire educational process, the creation of new curricula, textbooks and teaching aids, the improvement and modernization of their content, the introduction of interactive teaching methods. Russian is a new textbook designed to organize independent work for students of philology, future teachers of the Russian language, as well as for those who study Russian as a foreign language. This determines the features of its structure and content. Unlike traditional syntax textbooks, which include only theoretical information or theoretical information and exercises, the new textbook contains the entire range of materials necessary for initial familiarization with the basic syntactic units and for mastering their basic principles. It includes information on theory and a system of practical and control tasks of various types. The textbook can be used as a precursor or complement to work with other textbooks and educational and scientific publications.

The textbook describes two basic syntactic units and, accordingly, consists of two sections: the syntax of a phrase and the syntax of a simple sentence. For each syntactic unit, in accordance with the structural and semantic approach, an analysis of its structure (grammatical form) and content (grammatical meaning) is given.

Each section includes brief information on the theory necessary to understand the basic properties of a syntactic unit. The theoretical material is supplemented with samples of the analysis of syntactic units, followed by a system of exercises based on the principle of "from simple to complex."

The source of the actual material for the textbook were excerpts of texts from the works of Russian writers, poets, periodicals, proverbs and sayings.

With the help of the new textbook, students will deepen and consolidate their theoretical knowledge and learn how to use a particular syntactic unit correctly.

Another published publication is the textbook "Modern Turkmen language. Syntax", which was prepared by G.Myradova and A.Meredova. The textbook pays special attention to the practical side of syntax issues, as well as provides brief information about its theoretical basis.

The textbook discusses the issues studied by syntax: syntactic units and means, phrases, sentences, texts, quotations, and others. In addition, the textbook outlines the topic of the relationship of syntax with other branches of linguistics, in particular, with punctuation.

The materials are supported by targeted exercises and tasks.

Spelling and punctuation rules and spelling standards are provided for each topic. This textbook will be useful for both students and teachers of higher educational institutions.
