Representatives of the University of Westminster of Great Britain visited the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi.
A delegation from the University of Westminster is on a working visit to Turkmenistan to conduct training sessions and meetings in the framework of cooperation with higher education institutions in our country.
For teachers and students of the Turkmen Pedagogical Institute, guests from the British University Andrew Lynn Robert and Anastasia Bezborodova conducted a 4-stage training course aimed at improving the language training of students.
During the training, such important issues as improving English language skills by using modern methods, effective application of advanced scientific achievements and technologies in teaching, conducting scientific research related to language education, and reflecting the results of these studies in scientific publications were discussed.
The training course with the participation of foreign specialists made a great impression on the teachers and students of the Pedagogical Institute, and also became a significant and productive event within the framework of ongoing work to improve the teaching of foreign languages in Turkmenistan.
It should be added that the visit of guests from the University of Westminster of Great Britain to Turkmenistan continues from January 19 to January 25. During this period, representatives of the University of Westminster visited the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University, the International University of Humanities and Development, where they held training sessions and meetings with the participation of heads, teachers and students of Turkmen universities.
