Chemen Vekilova, an English teacher at the International University of Humanities and Development, became a participant in the short-term training organized as part of the program AELLCA of the British Council in Norwich, UK. The training course brought together teachers of higher education institutions in Central Asia with a range of qualifications, experience, and corner-learning in English, as well as the culture and national traditions of the United Kingdom region.

One of the key aspects of programming was studying at the leading language school Nile (Norfolk International Language Experience), which actively cooperates with the program AELLCA. The teachers at this school are from the Central Asian country. Asia has hosted a series of intensive seminars and workshops aimed at familiarizing students with the structure of education in England.

During the training, special attention was paid to a study visit to local schools and other educational institutions in Norwich.

Teachers from Central Asia had a unique opportunity to observe the process of teaching English and other school subjects. School visits greatly contributed to the acquisition of valuable experience, the study of British pedagogical methods, approaches to the organization of the educational process and methods of communication with students.

At meetings with British colleagues, teachers from Central Asia discussed various aspects of educational practice, including the use of technology in the educational process, a variety of teaching methods and inclusive education.

The training program allowed the participants to significantly improve their professional competencies, expand their theoretical knowledge and improve practical skills in the field of teaching English, as well as strengthen international relations in the field of education.
