Myrat Myalikov, a teacher at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, took part in a professional development program organized by the Norwich Institute of Education (NILE) in England from January 26 to February 1.

The program brought together 26 teachers from Central Asian countries with the aim of in-depth study of the UK education system, school management and strategic ways to promote inclusivity.

Within the framework of the program, classes were held to explore methods and experiences in supporting schools and students with special educational needs, and effective approaches based on the “Education, Health and Care Plan” (EHCP) and Alternative Practice (AP) were demonstrated.

From February 1-8, the institute's specialist participates in the project "English and Inclusivity" at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). This project includes informing teachers about inclusive teaching methods, supporting diverse students and promoting equality in English-language education. Courses and trainings have been organized for the participants of this project aimed at familiarizing them with practical methods of managing an inclusive classroom. In order to study the process of inclusive education, students also attend university classes and lectures by specialists in this field. In addition, thematic discussions are held between teachers from the UK and Central Asia countries during the training.

This project aims to contribute to the improvement of English language teaching and inclusive education. The knowledge gained as a result of the project will become a valuable source for the development of existing approaches to learning.
