The International Training-Methodology Conference titled "Language – the Most Important Means of Friendly Relations" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was timed to coincide with the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's accession to the United Nations and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.

The conference was attended by representatives of the teaching staff from higher and secondary professional educational institutions of Turkmenistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran, Pakistan, Hungary, Romania, the USA, Bahrain, and Korea.
The event took place in a hybrid format in Turkmen, English, Russian, and German. During the conference, a detailed scientific dialogue was held among colleagues from different countries. Reports were presented on issues related to teaching foreign languages, effective use of innovative technologies, and the introduction of new teaching methods into the educational process. Participants shared valuable professional experience and demonstrated practical examples of successful and effective teaching of foreign languages.

At the international training-methodology forum, there was a joint discussion on the growing importance of studying foreign languages and applying active and innovative approaches to their teaching, as well as the role of foreign languages in establishing and developing international relations and intercultural communication.
Participants expressed confidence that the conference would significantly contribute to improving the quality of education and activating cooperation in this direction between universities of Turkmenistan and foreign countries. It would also enhance the methodology of teaching foreign languages in higher and secondary professional educational institutions of Turkmenistan, including organizational-methodological, innovative-pedagogical, and educational-methodological aspects.

Additionally, the high importance of this conference was noted for solving such priority tasks in the future as the introduction of new methods and techniques of teaching developed as a result of further international cooperation, and the development of professional skills of foreign language teachers for their effective application.
