30 years of independence: structural reforms, diversification and digitization of the economy

For three decades of independence, Turkmenistan has successfully implemented the reformation of specialized part of national economy of big multi-national country into self-sustained national model of the economy, which is dynamically developed according to global trends. Today, Turkmenistan is among the first hundred states by the GDP volumes per capita, the indicator which shows the level of economic development of the country, outpacing the majority of its regional neighbors in the IMF and WB ratings. In the result of stable economic growth, which is successfully preserved from the beginning of the independence, the World Bank has awarded Upper Middle Income Country Status to Turkmenistan in 2012.

The President of Turkmenistan approved the composition of the joint Intergovernmental turkmen-qatar Commission

In order to further develop the partnership between Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar, expand bilateral trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian relations, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the composition of the joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Qatari Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation from the Turkmen side.

Turkmen football players take over Lebanese team in qualifying match for 2022 World Cup

Football players of Turkmenistan national team have won Lebanon 3:2 in qualifying match of 20222 World Cup, which was held in Korean Goyang under central tournament in H Group. Zafar Babajanov (60th minute), Guychmurad Annakuliyev (86th minute) and Altymurad Annadurdiyev (90+2) were the ones who scored the goals in our team. Rabi Ataya (74th minute) and Suni Saad (76th minute0 have distinguished themselves among the lost team.
