The association "Turkmenfilm" named after Oguzhan is preparing a New Year's gift for the people of Turkmenistan. Two short entertaining films have been put into production - the musical comedy "Täze ýyl" by V. Ishangulyev and "Täze ýyl şowhuny" by K. Karaev, which are planned to be shown to viewers on national television. There are many other projects in the creative portfolio of Turkmen filmmakers, which are being worked hard these days. These are three documentaries about traditional national values. One of them is dedicated to the Turkmen alabai, the second to the traditional “Alaja” amulet, and the third to the tamdyr for baking chorek (bread), which Turkmens have revered as a shrine since ancient times.
