Vadim Masson: A man who opened Jeytun archaeological culture and Altyn-depe civilization
Many talented archaeologists, who made a contribution to the study of history by physical evidence, have worked in Turkmenistan, which is rich with great number of historical monuments. Two contemporaries, co-authors of several scientific works and big friends Victor Sarianidi and Vadim Masson are among the most famous scientists who dedicated their lives to study of the secrets of Turkmen land.

In Memory of the Mentor: A Tribute Concert to Pianist Alexander Starikov
On April 1, the Small Hall of Special Music School at the May Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory played host to a tribute concert honoring one of the remarkable pianist, Merited Art Worker of Turkmenistan, professor at the Kazan Conservatory Alexander Anatolievich Starikov. The musician passed away in February. He would have turned 70 this December.

Turkmen violinist – Jemal Agajanova – the winner of an international contest
Great news arrived from Nice, France - a second-year student of the Department of String Instruments of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva Jemal Agajanova took the second place in the violin nomination at the international competition, which took place in March in an online format and brought together musicians from 30 countries.

Lines of Destiny: Artist and Aeromodeler Murad Hojakuliev
I first met Murad Hojakuliev at the Kopetdag Stadium a few years ago when I went for a morning run. Standing on the edge of the football field, he was flying a small model airplane with his full attention focused on it. Murad made his remote-controlled fun flyer do inconceivable aerobatic maneuvers: it suddenly soared upwards, performed figures-of-eight and loops, turned upside down in the air, and flew fast over the green field almost touching it with its fin.
