Young leaders of Turkmenistan participate in the educational forum «ShoreS»
The youth educational forum of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation «ShoreS» is taking place in the Astrahan region. Representatives of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan are among the participants of the forum, which brought together young leaders of the Caspian littoral countries – Iran, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan
Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to consider the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-August of the current year. The agenda also included issues of ensuring security and peace in independent Turkmenistan, strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, and further improving their activities.

The final match of the 21st round of the Turkmenistan Championship among the top league clubs ended with the victory of the «Altyn Asyr» football players over the Turkmenbashy’s «Shagadam» – 2:0. The game took place at the «Sport Toplumy» stadium in the Buzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat.

Turkmen-Swedish cooperation discussed in Stockholm
On 3 September 2024, Turkmen-Swedish political consultations were held in Stockholm. The Turkmen side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova, the Swedish side was led by Tobias Thyberg, Head of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.
