Sarry Karryev - genie from "Aladdin's Magic Lamp"
In 1966, the movie "Aladdin's Magic Lamp", based on the Arabian fairy tale from the collection "A Thousand and One Nights", was released. Although the film was produced far outside Turkmenistan, at Maxim Gorky Central Film Studio for Children and Youth in Moscow, Turkmen actor Sarry Karryev played one of the main roles in the film.

Decree of the President of Turkmenistan
To attract foreign capital to the country’s economy, to provide state support to small and medium-sized businesses in the epoch of power and happiness, and to render financial assistance to the private sector, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a relevant Resolution. The document authorizes the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs to conclude with the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector a three-year supplemental Wakala Financial Agreement (with an annual interest rate of 4.5 percent, and a grace period of up to 6 months) to the three-year SWAP contract in order to finance SME projects, as well as to follow the proper procedures to put it into effect.
