President of Turkmenistan attends the opening ceremonies in Avaza Etrap

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremonies of new facilities in Avaza Etrap, the city of Turkmenbashi. Among them are the adminiatrative buildings of the Avaza Etrap Hyakimlik, the Avaza Etrap Municipal Services Department, the police department and the fire station, which are supplied with necessary equipment as well as the sports and shopping centre.

The newly built school for 320 schoolchildren opened in Avaza Etrap offers the most favourable conditions for learning, educational цщкл, sports and cultural events and cognitive leisure activities of schoolchildren. Classrooms are supplied with multimedia equipment, computers and training aids. There are also the library, canteen, rooms for groups of interest and big conference room to host festive events in the school building. The gym, sports grounds and rooms for crafts are at the children’s disposal.

Moreover, a new kindergarten for 160 children replenished the social infrastructure of the littoral city. The two-storey building houses the spacious bright rooms, including cozy bedrooms, classrooms equipped with multimedia and interactive technologies, language laboratories, computer rooms, music room, gym and swimming pool. There are playgrounds in the kindergarten yard.

A new health centre opened in Avaza Etrap that day has all necessary conditions to render medical aid to citizens. There are doctor’s rooms and the specialized departments, including the first aid unit, maternity unit, surgery unit, consultative and diagnostic unit, physiotherapy unit, ambulance unit, outpatient unit, pharmacy in the new building. They are supplied with state-of-the-art medical equipment produced by the world’s leading manufacturers, including X-ray, ECG and ultrasound equipment.

The Turkmen people’s rituals and customs carefully passed over from one generation to another accompanied the opening ceremonies. That added bright colours to the celebrations vividly illustrating the Turkmen people’s adherence to its cultural heritage.

The Turkmen leader’s car stopped at the new housing estate with a shopping centre. The complex includes eight four-storey houses with 200 two- and three-room apartments. Children’s playgrounds and sports grounds are located on the territory adjacent to apartment houses that are planted with trees and shrubs.

On the square in front of newly built apartment houses, artistic groups performed a colourful theatrical show presenting the national housewarming rituals.

The President entered one of the apartment houses. The happy owners of the new apartments on the first floor cordially greeted the Turkmen leader. The President wished happiness and family well-being and presented gifts to them.

Then the Turkmen leader visited the shopping centre built near the new housing estate. The spacious shops provide a wide range of products manufactured by domestic producers, including meat, fish and dairy products, groceries, cereals, bakery products, fresh and canned fruits and vegetables, juices, beverages and mineral waters. There is also a textile goods shop in the new centre. A wide range of carpet articles and handicrafts are also presented in the shopping centre.
