Turkmenistan announces winners of national educational competitions

Turkmenistan has announced the results of the annual state-level competitions organized by the country’s Ministry of Education among educational institutions and pedagogical staff. Participants from all corners of the country took active and distinguished part in the large-scale contests, which were held across 15 different categories. The competitions served as a platform to showcase the merits, achievements, experience, as well as the educational, mentoring, scientific, and creative contributions of both institutions and individual educators.

The entries were evaluated by a competent jury composed of leading specialists from state institutions and public organizations, including the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, The Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, The Pedagogical School named after Aman Kekilov, The Pedagogical School named after Hydyr Deryayev, the “Turkmenistan” and “Mugallymlar gazeti” newspapers, the “Bilim” scientific-methodological magazine, and the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan.

Following the final, state-level stage, the Grand Prix winners were announced:

Best Kindergarten: Kindergarten №14, Turkmenbashi etrap, Balkan velayat;

Most Exemplary Kindergarten Director: Sahragul Akmammedova, Kindergarten №2, Mary etrap, Mary velayat;

Most Exemplary Kindergarten Educator-Methodologist: Mahri Abdyveliyeva, Kindergarten No. 3, Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat;

Best Classroom for Group Activities: Mahira Ermetova, specialized Kindergarten №39 with intensive language studies, Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat;

Best School: Specialized secondary school №29 with intensive English studies, Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat;

Most Exemplary School Director: Jahan Saparmyradova, secondary school №27, Mary, Mary velayat;

Most Exemplary Deputy Director for Academic Affairs: Bagtygul Pudakova, specialized secondary school №3 with intensive English studies, Arkadag city;

Most Exemplary Deputy Director for Educational Affairs: Gulendam Gylychlyeva, school №24 for gifted children, Mary, Mary velayat;

Most Exemplary Class Teacher: Merjen Saparova, specialized secondary school №25 with intensive foreign language studies, Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat;

Best Class: Amangul Sopyeva, specialized secondary school №25 with intensive foreign language studies, Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat;

Most Exemplary Music Teacher: Bayrammyrat Keljayev, kindergarten №18, Gyzylarbat etrap, Balkan velayat;

Best School Library: Library of specialized secondary school №145 with intensive foreign language studies, Ashgabat;

Best School Gymnasium: Sports hall of secondary school №29, Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat;

Most Exemplary Extracurricular Institution for Children: Children’s and Youth Creativity Center, Akdepe etrap, Dashoguz velayat;

Most Exemplary Club Leader: Orazjan Sapargeldiyev, “Drummers” club leader, Children’s and Youth Creativity Center, Gorogly etrap, Dashoguz velayat.

In each of the 15 categories, first, second, and third-place winners, as well as those receiving merit awards, were also recognized, representing Ashgabat, the city Arkadag, and all velayats of Turkmenistan.

These competitions played a significant role in identifying and rewarding exemplary educational institutions and the talented, hardworking professionals within them. They served as a testament to the dedication, pedagogical mastery, and patriotism of the participants, as well as their ongoing commitment to improving their work in alignment with international standards.
